Bicentenary of Arad theology: Orthodox Religion Teachers` Conference

Last week marked the beginning of Arad`s orthodox religion teachers’ conference – Sheets from Arad`s Cultural Past: The Theological Institute and Academy- hosted in „King Ferdinand” Conference Room (Arad County Townhall). Tpwnlala

The event has been initiated and organized by AVU`s Faculty of Orthodox Theology and is part of the anniversary programme dedicated to the bicentenary.

Guests included the Archbishop of Arad archdiocese, Timotei Seviciu; Reverend Father Emilian Crișanul, vicar- bishop of Arad Archdiocese, Ramona Lile, Rector of „Aurel Vlaicu” University of Arad; Cristinel Ioja, Dean of „Ilarion V. Felea” Faculty of Orthodox Theology; prof. Daniela Buzatu, Specialty Inspector for Timis County School Inspectorate. The participants were orthodox religion teachers from Arad County as well as numerous students.
