International and interdisciplinary symposium hosted by AVU`s Faculty of Theology

Theologians and medical professionals have met online to debate a very present and challenging topic: “Death in the biotechnological era”. The interdisciplinary approach allowed for a bridge between the theological and medical approach to the subject prompting real interest in the scientific community.

The event was joined by researchers, professors and doctors from Basel-Stadt (Switzerland), Dortmund (Germany), Prague (Czech Republic), Iași, Cluj-Napoca, Craiova, Timișoara, Sibiu and Arad; the symposium was organized in collaboration between Arad`s Archdiocese and „Aurel Vlaicu” University of Arad.
