9/21/2021

AVU`s „Ilarion V. Felea” Faculty of Theology hosted, Monday, the 20th of September, the opening ceremonies of two symposiums: “Society under siege. Significances of church faith” and “The National Undergraduate and Graduate Student Symposium. Online challenges faced by the church. Pastoral typologies and missionary attitudes”.

The opening of the two-day conferences was presided by the faculty`s Dean, Crisitnel Ioja in the presence of Timotei Seviciu, Arad`s Archbishop, Ramona LILE, the university`s Rector, and Florentina Munteanu, Head of AVU`s Doctoral School.

„It is a joyful moment to be here today with all of you and to pledge the university management`s support for every event organized by the Faculty of Theology. Arad`s theological movement promotes high quality education for which I have been congratulated numerous times by the Romanian Orthodox Church`s high clergy. Arad`s Archdiocese plays an important role in the promotion of theological higher education and I`d like to take the opportunity to extend my gratitude for the support offered to both our university as well as the faculty of theology” added AVU`s Rector Ramona LILE.
