Ramona Lile „Prestigious events hosted by „Aurel Vlaicu” University of Arad”
6/15/2022Two prestigious events were hosted recently by „Aurel Vlaicu” University of Arad”: the meeting of the Council of Deans from all theology faculties under the Romanian Patriarchy and the Significance of Theology in Today’s Society and Culture International Symposium.
The events started on June the 14th in the university chapel with the Tedeum worship service and segued into the opening ceremony that welcomed theologians from 9 countries: Germany, Austria, Greece, Poland, USA, Canada, Russia, Lebanon as well as from national faculties of theology.
Notable guests included AVU`s Rector, Ramona LILE, Arad`s Mayor Călin Bibarț, subprefect Doru Sinaci, the county council vice-president Ionel Bulbuc in addition to numerous clergy members.
Arad`s Mayor, Calin Bibart was awarded an anniversary medal and diploma for his involvement and support shown towards AVU and the Arad Archdiocese.
